An elegant sailing boat, handmade on the famous Venetian island of Murano, in Calcedonio glass. This effect, with its distinctive multi-hued veins, is achieved by mixing metal compounds such as zinc and cobalt with dark glass to imitate natural stones such as chalcedony and agate. Due to the individual nature of its crafting, no two pieces of Calcedonio sculpture are ever the same.
