This is a true Murano glass masterpiece, with 2 different techniques involved in its construction. Handcrafted using firstly the 'massello' technique, which involves modelling a solid mass of glass while still hot, it then has 24 carat gold detail details worked into the sculpture. This technique is called 'rigadin retorto'. Finally, the doves are attached with hinges to a solid crystal base.
