Decorative and unique hand-blown blue-green Murano glass vase

This vividly-coloured blue-green Murano glass vase showcases the incredible skill of the Venetian glass-master. It is a fantastic blend of different colours and ancient glass-blowing techniques including zanfirico, murrines, filigrana, and reticello, most of which include the fusion of coloured glass canes of varying thicknesses into different patterns.This is a very time-consuming process, as it is all done by hand. What is more, as the vases in our collections are made individually in studios, no two will be identical.

The glass also contains a coppery-colored glitter called aventurine, which was regarded as a precious metal in 19th century Venice. Please get in touch with us if you would like a price for the smaller size, measuring approximately 40 centimetres in height.
