Black vases with murrine decorations

These attractive modern Murano vases are hand-produced with coral glass decorations. The vase on the left carries an ornamental black murrine, and the vase on the right bears two similar murrines in coral.

Murrine glass art, often known as 'millefiori' is one of the most collectable styles of Murano glassware. Murrines are small thin discs of glass formed in different patterns.
