This stunning Venetian glass vase is created using the "filigrana" or "filigree" technique, which dates all the way back to the Italian Renaissance period. The term applies to blown glass items which are fused with glass rods while molten. As you can imagine, this process demands a high degree of skill and dexterity, and because the glass is hand-crafted, it is highly unlikely that any two products will be identical. So your new vase will be unique to you!
